Witness the Art of Sled Dog Training
As the day progresses, we commence training our athletic sled dogs for the upcoming winter season and racing events. Depending on weather conditions, our expert trainers dedicate up to an hour or two to prepare the dogs. In milder temperatures, when their thick coats offer insulation, we adjust the training regimen to ensure they don’t overheat, particularly when the temperature exceeds 5°C.
Play and Bond with a Host of Huskies
Our huskies are exceptionally friendly and eagerly await your arrival for playtime and cuddles. Our pack thrives on communal play, and it’s common to see more than 40 dogs frolicking together in our yard. If you share our passion for these remarkable animals, this experience promises to be a heartwarming encounter!
Experience Sled Dog Training Carts
During late summer and autumn, when snow is scarce, we introduce four-wheeled training carts. These carts are designed for two individuals: a driver and a passenger. Presently, we offer this tour for parties of two. If your group exceeds two people, please contact us via email, and we’ll happily tailor the experience to accommodate your numbers. While our carts feature excellent suspension, we recommend against this tour if you have any preexisting back pain or injuries that may be exacerbated.
Relax with Coffee and Fika
Following your exhilarating afternoon adventure, unwind with a cup of coffee and indulge in a traditional Swedish Fika in our cozy Laavu.
Conveniently Located in Kalixforsbron
Our homebase and kennels are conveniently situated in Kalixforsbron, a mere 20-30 minute drive from Kiruna. To streamline your visit, we offer a transfer service for 600SEK per party. This service includes pick-up from various central Kiruna locations and drop-off after your tour. Booking this service is easy and can be added during your reservation process.
