If you’re in Kiruna early in the season, don’t miss our exciting Kiruna Husky Morning Training Tour! This hands-on outdoor adventure offers a unique opportunity to connect with our 40 friendly sled dogs while exploring the enchanting Lapland wilderness during autumn. Get ready for an unforgettable experience that combines nature, furry companions, and a traditional Swedish Fika. Be prepared for an exhilarating ride through the forest that may get a little bumpy!
Witness the Sled Dogs' Training
Starting in September, we begin training our athletic sled dogs for the upcoming winter season and races. Depending on the weather conditions, our dedicated team trains them for up to an hour or two a day. In warmer temperatures, when their thick coats provide insulation, we reduce the training to prevent overheating, especially when the temperature is above 5°C.
Play and Cuddle with a Pack of Huskies
Our huskies are incredibly friendly and love to play and cuddle with our guests. Our pack is accustomed to spending quality time together in free play, so it’s normal to see over 40 dogs happily running around our yard. If you share our passion for dogs, this experience is truly heartwarming!
try Sled dog training carts
In late summer and autumn, when there isn’t enough snow for sleds, we use four-wheeled training carts. These carts are designed for two people: a driver and a passenger. Currently, we offer this tour for groups of two. If your party exceeds two people, please reach out to us via email, as we can customize the experience based on your group size. While the carts have good suspension, we advise against this tour if you have any existing back pain or injuries that could be aggravated.

After your thrilling tour with us, we invite you to warm up with a cup of coffee and a traditional Swedish Fika in our cozy Laavu.
homebase in kalixforsbron
Our homebase and kennels are situated in Kalixforsbron, just a 20-30 minute drive from Kiruna. To make your visit hassle-free, we offer a transfer service for 600SEK per party, picking you up from various central Kiruna locations and dropping you back afterward. You can easily add this service when booking your tour.
